Bladderwrack is a seaweed high in vitamins and filled with minerals that help nourish and cleanse the skin of toxins that cause dryness, wrinkles and excess fluid retention. Seaweeds, in general, give protection to those at sea or flying over it, so carrying this on you while travelling will provide protection.  It is often used in sea spells to summon the spirit of the sea.
